Chihyo (Mark) Ahn

Chihyo(Mark) Ahn is a 1st year ECE Ph.D. student from Seoul, Korea. He graduated from University of Michigan with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This is his first semester as a TA for ECE 2031. His coursework is focused on computer architecture and applied machine learning. In his free time, Mark enjoys watching movies, working out, and working on electronics. As a GTA, he believes students can learn multiple skills throughout the course(while doing group projects and writing reports), which would be very helpful after graduation.

Jonathan Park

Graduating Spring, 2021

Jonathan is a 1st year MS ECE student from Suwanee, GA. He completed his undergrad with a BS in EE from Georgia Tech and is continuing his education in the BS/MS program. He has work experience in the semiconductor industry and plans to continue his MS studies concentrating on VLSI and Digital Design. Jonathan is interested in all things sports, but basketball and volleyball are currently his two favorites. He also enjoys eating good food with his friends and casually playing Smash Ultimate. He has been involved in RUF, a campus ministry, for his entire time at Tech, and was a PL for ECE 1100. This is his 1st semester as a GTA, but he was a TA for ECE 2031 for 5 semesters as an undergrad. Jonathan loves to see students succeed in ECE. He believes that collaboration and communication are crucial to success both in academia and industry, and he tries to facilitate this as a TA.

Anjan Goswami

Anjan Goswami is a first-year Ph.D. student in the department of ECE. He did his undergraduate in Bangladesh and masters at the University of Notre Dame. He loves playing cricket. He also loves reading thriller novels. Anjan enjoys teaching and explaining concepts to students. He expects to have a fun experience being a TA for this course

Annie Luo

MS Student
Graduating Summer, 2022

Annie is a first year Master’s student and also completed her Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at Tech last Spring. She has had 5 semesters of TA experience for digital design lab as an undergraduate and is very excited to continue as a graduate student. Previously she has had 2 internships, one with Raytheon and the other with Uhnder, Inc., working on different types of radar detection systems. In her free time, she like to spend time watching sports, taking long walks outdoors with her puppy, or learning new recipes. She hopes that this semester she can provide understanding through thorough and clear feedback as well as being an available resource for questions at any time.

Jordan Altaffer

Graduating May, 2021

Jordan is a first year Master’s student at Georgia Tech, and is a teaching assistant for ECE 2031 for the fourth time overall, his first time as a graduate teaching assistant. Jordan graduated from Georgia Tech in May 2021 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and is a part of the BS/MS program. ECE 2031 is a valuable class for both the technical and professional aspects of engineering, and Jordan is excited to help students hone their technical communication skills throughout the semester.

When not in class or in office hours, Jordan enjoys playing guitar, going to the gym and hanging out with friends. Lately, he has taken an interest in mountain biking and Jazz. Jordan is excited for the semester ahead and is eager to have a positive effect on the experiences of his students.
