Introduction
ECE 3041, Instrumentation and Circuits Laboratory, serves as a basis for subsequent laboratory instruction by familiarizing students with basic laboratory practices and the use of instruments.
The course is co-taught by Dr. Tom Brewer (technical component) and Instructors Christina Bourgeois (writing component) and Michael Laughter (writing component) who collaborate to create traditional "academic" style assignments such as lab reports and "nontraditional" work-place oriented assignments such as user's manuals and recommendation reports.
In addition to submitting two writing assignments each semester, students are required to meet with a GTA writing consultant to review a rough draft of a report.
